Testing Services for Military Requirements, including MIL STD 461
DTB undertakes both Standard and Non-standard testing regimens for the Marine Corps. Standard examples include MIL STD 810 or MIL STD 461 to the latest revision. We commonly use our engineering staff to determine a unique test or design solution for a unique soldier situation or mission.
Recent Test Projects for the U.S. Marines
- Testing Air Conditioning units for cooling capacity, vibration, ability to withstand high and low temperatures, vibration, heating capacity, coil frost, EMI, evaporator compartment air leakage, cooling capacity, air flow, operating on an incline, noise test, and much more.
- Inverters were put through electrical testing, burn-in testing, EMI (per MIL-STD461E), thermal shock, drip-proof testing, vibration testing, bounce tests, shock tests, drop tests, bench handling tests, weight and dimensions measurements, and stability testing.
- Power Supply units were subjected to a variety of environmental, dynamic, electrical and EMI testing, such as transportation vibration testing, bounce tests, watertightness, drip-proof tests, blowing dust, temperature and humidity testing.
